Christmas Gathering and Bidding Adieu to Our Favourite Sir Albert

Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, for laughter, for coming together with family and friends. The celebration at SJCHSS was surely worth remembering. The auditorium was decorated with bells, streamers and a Christmas tree. Bishop Salvador Lobo graced the occasion with his presence. The students presented a beautifully choreographed dance program in honour of our living Sir Albert. Father Arul, our School Secretary sang a melodious and heart touching song. The story of the birth of Jesus Christ was enacted and the Christmas carols were sung.
But amidst all this fun, we had to bid farewell to our dear Sir Albert Baptist. Teachers come and go but their memories are forever- the lessons that they teach are never forgotten. Teachers keep changing every now and then, but great ones are remembered time and again. Sir Albert has been one such inspiring soul for both our students and teachers as well. His service to this institution will always be remembered. We wish him good health and a happy retirement. We bid him goodbye with the hope that he will pay us a visit when he has the time to do so.
With this mixed emotion where happiness and sadness became one we headed towards our winter break wishing everyone a very happy, joyful and a prosperous new year 2023.
